About Us
Roley is a creative company based in England.
Our journey began in the early 2000's when I would upload designs to the fledgling product on demand sites that started to appear on the early internet.
It was a hobby that quickly grew, so much so, that I invested what I earnt doing that work into my own machinery. Roley produced birthday badges, posters, mugs and even t shirts. I shipped items all around the world.
As things progressed my interest was caught by programming, after all who doesn't want to make their own video games? It was a lucky change, as at the time everyone wanted either a gambling app or some sort of easy browser game, to attract eyeballs to their website. So I shifted away from producing items for individuals, to producing games for entrepreneurs and businesses.
It was whilst studying the field of video games that I first dipped my toe into the world of 3d modelling, purely from a point of wanting to learn more.
I had been eyeing lasers and 3d printers for a long time, with a view to getting one or the other as a way for learning a new skill that could expand on what I had previously found so interesting.
Luckily enough I was able to get both a laser and a 3d printer and found that my previous work with vectors from the designing t-shirt days, along with what I learned from 3d modelling came in very useful.
The laser and 3d printer have lead to me producing a LOT of items, mostly for friends and family. But if I think something I've made maybe useful for someone else, then you can find it for sale here on this site.
