How do I work out my trade-in credit?
This is REALLY easy. Just look at the cash offer for your Nintendo Switch game on CeX and multiply it by 0.7.
For example:
CeX cash offer £29.
So 29 x 0.7 = 20.30
Your store credit with Roley will be £20.30.

What type of Nintendo Switch games do you accept?
You always need to send us an email of the games you want to trade-in first to save time, but here is a general guide.
Quality - not broken or damaged and with all associated accessories (e.g case, booklets etc where necessary).
Value - each title must be worth at least £15 for cash at CeX.
Titles - first party titles preferred (games made by Nintendo themselves), like Mario etc.

What is the maximum credit I can get?
There is currently a £150 limit to how much credit you can have, you can use up to 100% towards your purchase. Meaning you will get it completely free. Additionally store credit must be used within 12 months or it will be lost.
There is no transferring credit. Store credit cannot be accumulated higher than the maximum amount. There is no cash value to store-credit and store credit cannot be exchanged for cash.
Expiration date of credit is 12 months from the most recent credit issue date. For simplicity expiration will be the same as the date credit was generated plus one year, except dates landing on February 29th (a leap year), these will default to the 28th of February the following year.

Is posting my item to you free?
You need to cover the cost of posting your item(s) to us. If we don't accept your games due to anything other than condition, you changing your mind or not being genuine, then we will cover the return postage cost.
If you send faulty, counterfeit or indeed change your mind about trading, then you will need to pay for return postage and a handling fee.

By submitting items for trade-in, you agree to the following terms.
Eligible Items
We currently accept selected gaming items, including eligible Nintendo Switch games and approved gaming hardware/accessories.
All trade-ins are subject to inspection and approval upon receipt.
We reserve the right to reject:
Rejected items can be returned at the customer’s expense.
Trade-In Valuation
Trade-in values are calculated using current CeX cash prices as a reference.
We offer store credit based on a percentage of live CeX cash values at the time the items are inspected and accepted.
Quoted values are estimates until the items have been received and checked.
We reserve the right to revise trade-in values if:
Trade-In Limits
Minimum trade-in value: £20 store credit (Aprrox £29 CeX cash offer)
Maximum trade-in value per order: 60% of the order total
Maximum trade-in credit per individual item may apply
We reserve the right to limit the quantity or type of items accepted in any submission.
Shipping Trade-Ins
Customers are responsible for all costs associated with sending trade-in items to us.
We recommend using a tracked postal service, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit before delivery.
Ownership Transfer
Once trade-in items have been accepted and processed, ownership transfers permanently to us.
Accepted trade-in items may be resold, exchanged, or otherwise disposed of immediately and cannot be returned.

Trade-in value is issued as store credit only.
Store credit:
Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Refunds & Returns
Products purchased using trade-in credit remain subject to our standard returns policy and applicable consumer rights.
Where an order was paid for using both cash and trade-in credit:
Any eligible cash refund will be returned to the original payment method, any trade-in portion will be refunded as store credit only.
Original trade-in items cannot be returned once accepted and processed.
As many products are made to order, refunds may be reduced to reflect materials, labour, processing, or custom work already carried out.
