Glados Is Chell's Mother AND Father
Portal is one of the games that got everything right, from it's head scratching puzzles, to it's quirky little story. Now while I'd like to maybe cover the story at some point in the future, there have been many questions left unanswered by the game, which in turn have lead to a shit load of theories.
In a way this Portal video was two Portal theories in one. We kind of already knew Caroline was knocking about inside of GLaDOS. But Caroline and Cave Johnson fucking like bunnies at some point is just a theory (so far), as well as my suggestion that traces of Cave Johnson's mind would be inside GLaDOS from early efforts of creating the system.
That part at the beginning about me scrapping the original Portal video for being too long and thereby teaching myself a lesson wasn't a joke either, I've done it before. You see you have to make videos in a certain way to get any traction on Youtube, something not a lot of people understand. But there was a hint that a small crowd would be interested in a longer, more in depth format, so hopefully I could bring the odd video like that to the site.
The other thing that surprised me was the amount of brain dead the video pulled in, my usual crowd are the fun loving gaming thinkers of the world. But some of the turd comments were higher then usual. Turns out there was a game called Lego Dimensions, which featured parts from Portal 2 in there, so mystery solved has to what churned up the turds.
Well I can tell you now Portal fans, the Portal cannon is in no way affected by the Lego game, as confirmed by Valve themselves. Bonus facts the distorted Portal music and erratic guitar at the beginning were made by me.
